  1. Gaming press didn’t just become “this.” They were always “this.” Sure, they used more guileful camouflage, but not always.

    Case in point: The hardcore pro-Sony props outlet Game Informer rooted against the Dreamcast, and bashed it relentlessly when it had a successful US launch.
